Abortion is the destruction of a fetus or unborn child while the child is still in the
mothers’ womb, which is the termination of a pregnancy after conception. Abortion
allows women to put an end to their pregnancies, but involves killing the undeveloped
embryo or baby. The controversy surrounding abortion has existed for years, and will
probably continue well into the future. Opinion’s regarding abortion are very divided and people feel very strongly on this issue. There are people who believe abortion should be legalized by the government and that it should be the woman’s choice. There are also people who believe the government should ban abortion, because they believe an embryo or fetus is a human.
