Water is an important substance because it forms life. Most of the living creatures need water to live. Water also plays an important role in human civilization. Although water is important to human, almost all of the causes for water pollution stem from human activities.
Agricultural wastes are one of the causes of pollution. There are two types of agricultural wastes that cause water pollution, which are pesticides and fertilizer wastes. when it rains ,the rain brings the wastes that are left at the farm into the groundwater and the wastes flow into the rivers and sea. Some rivers and pools are polluted because the peasants do not recycle the pesticides bottles but dispose them into the rivers and pools. Pesticides are poisonous. Exposure to pesticides is harmful to human health. Fertilizers will over-stimulate the growth of aquatic plants and cause harmful algal bloom. It leads to eutrophication, an oxygen-robbing process. The algae can clog water intake pipes and filters.......
