The death of Julius Caesar and John F. Kennedy are somewhat similar. It is believed that both were conspired against. However, it later was determined that John F. Kennedy’s assassinator probably acted alone.
Julius Caesar was dictator of the Roman Republic from 49BC to 44BC. He was successful in transforming the Roman Republic to a Roman empire through his military and political strengths. Caesar’s control of the government did not sit well with the senate and political opponents. Tension grew between all of them. Brutus, one of Caesar’s opponents, plotted against him. Brutus frequently spoke against Caesar. He asked Cassius and others in private to help him plan Caesar’s assassination. They discussed how, when and where it would take place.
