I believe that any goal is achievable, no matter how impossible it may seem. I pride myself in thinking and living in a positive manner. I also think that to achieve a goal that is set, recognizing faults and imperfections and knowing how to improve them is important. “Self-reflection is critical to the success of every leader and can be rather scary because it requires the leader to be honest and acknowledge his or her faults” (Benjamin, 2007, p. 103). Separating your goals into long and short term is an excellent way to minimize stress and make them more obtainable. I hope to always set a higher standard for myself to achieve both in my personal and professional journey through life.
Within the next few months in my professional life, I hope to gain the respect of my coworkers as an educator. I have recently taken on a new area of nursing, education. I believe my coworkers do not respect my position because I am young and this is a new experience…….
